Afterschool Program

Our Afterschool program is licensed for children ages 5-12 and operates from 7:30-5:30 Monday through Friday. We operate year round, closing only for statutory holidays and extremely severe weather.

All of our Educators undergo training in proper implementation of the English NB Curriculum Framework and Standard CPR with First Aid. Prior to employment, all Educators must submit cleared Criminal Record Checks, Social Development Checks, and background and reference checks.

Regular tuition for Afterschool care 2024 is $20/day September - June, payable by preauthorized debit from your bank account on a biweekly schedule.  Additional days (storm days, PD Days) are payable at $15/day only if your child attends. Tuition rates subject to change. We do not offer part time care (though you’re free to keep your child home whenever you wish). All food comes from home ready to be eaten.

A typical day after school:

The children arrive by school bus and are dropped off with the school bus doors facing into our driveway. Our team members greet them at the bus.

2:25 – The children on the first bus arrive and have snack. After eating, they play in one of our classroom centers.

3:00 – The children have the opportunity to participate in a group craft, science, or sensory activity.

3:40 – The children on the second bus arrive and have snack. After eating, they proceed outside.

4:00–5:00 – Dressing for outside, outdoor play, and returning inside.

This schedule fluctuates based on the interests of the children and the weather outside. We don’t go outside when it’s colder than -20 degrees or hotter than 30 degrees.

To formally reserve a space, a deposit of $200 and a $50 registration fee is required. This guarantees your child’s space is held for them. If you decide to take your child to another center before they begin attending, the deposit & registration fee are non-refundable. If you decide to take your child to another center after they have begun attending, the deposit is refunded when proper notice is given.
