Preschool Program

Our Preschool program is licensed for children ages 3-5 and operates from 7:30-5:30 Monday through Friday. We operate year round, closing only for statutory holidays and extremely severe weather.

Our children are grouped by age in 2 separate classes: 3 years old and  4 years. Our Educators are certified in Early Childhood Education, all with training in proper implementation of the English NB Curriculum Framework and Standard CPR with First Aid. Prior to employment, all Educators must submit cleared Criminal Record Checks, Social Development Checks, and background and reference checks.

Children are required to be fully potty trained to join our Preschool program. Regular tuition for 2024 is $18/day under the Canada Wide Agreement, payable by preauthorized debit from your bank account. Tuition rates subject to change. We do not offer part time care (though you’re free to keep your child home whenever you wish). All food comes from home ready to be eaten.

A typical day at Preschool:

7:30 – 9:00 – most children are dropped off during this time. The children play with the toys in their classroom and interact with their Educators. Educators communicate with parents to hear about the child’s previous night or weekend.

9:00 – 9:30 – Gathering time to share news, read stories, and sing songs

9:30 – Snack time

10:00 – Literacy or sensory activity.  

10:45 – 12 – Outdoor time

12:00 – 2:00 – Eat lunch and have a quiet rest time. At 1:00, our children who are not sleeping get up and do quiet activities together at the table.

2:00 – 2:30 – Sensory or craft activity

2:30 – Snack time

3:00 – 4:00 – Outdoor time

4:00–5:00 – Craft, group activity, play.

This schedule fluctuates based on the interests of the children and the weather outside. We don’t go outside when it’s colder than -20 degrees or hotter than 30 degrees.

To formally reserve a space, a deposit of $200 and a $50 registration fee is required. This guarantees your child’s space is held for them. If you decide to take your child to another center before they begin attending, the deposit & registration fee are non-refundable. If you decide to take your child to another center after they have begun attending, the deposit is refunded when proper notice is given.
